Step One

As you may have read in our ‘How We Work’ section - we have a tried and tested process we follow when taking on new clients at The Centre.

To start - all clients are asked to fill in our Pre-Assessment Questionnaire.

If you don’t feel comfortable filling in the form online, don’t worry. We will keep paper copies on hand in the office and can fill in the form with you during your Initial Consultation phone call (see below).

Step Two

Once we receive your forms, our Assessment Team will be notified.

The personal information, such as name and address, will go to our office team. The sensitive information in the second section will go directly to the Assessment Team only.

The team will review the information you gave and will contact you regarding an initial consultation. This appointment can be held over the phone, and typically lasts approximately 20 minutes, during which time you will speak with one of our assessors.

The more open you are in this chat, the better chance our Assessment Team have at pairing you with the ‘right’ counsellor or therapist for your needs.

Step Three

The Assessment Team will discuss your needs and the availability of the counsellors and therapists to determine whether or not we can help.

A member of staff will contact you with the details of your assigned counsellor/therapist, if applicable. From then onwards, your sessions will be in the schedule as discussed and the magic can begin.
